Join presenter, journalist and author Helen Cross as she talks about the importance of community and school gardening to help benefit the mental and physical health of wider society as well as the positive environmental impact gardening can have on communities.

Helen will be joined by Nikki-Marie Vjatschslav, Community Growing Manager at Unexpected Garden, and other local guests to discuss local projects and share their top tips to get more people growing whether you are 5 or 85.

This 45 minute conversation-based event will be followed immediately by a short walk along the waterfront to the Unexpected Garden, where you are invited to take part in an optional hands-on gardening session.
