Join researchers from the University of Edinburgh's Roslin Institute for two engaging and accessible short talks on their work to improve the health of oysters and other shellfish.

Discover how new techniques are being developed and used to study health and disease in the laboratory, and how our scientists are working with Scottish producers to keep shellfish and the industry healthy now and in the future.

In this session, our first of two during the festival, we will reveal how we grow oyster cells in the lab and explain how we study oyster genomes to unravel their secrets.
